Research Interests

My presentation on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning tools for Tupian languages at the ACM MINK-WiC 2023 conference.

My goal is to pursue a PhD in Computer Science after graduating in May 2025 with a degree in CS and English. I am passionate about designing experiments, reading and writing academic papers, and contributing to the scientific understanding of CS. At the moment, these are the research topics that interest me the most:

  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) for low-resource and morphologically rich languages
  • Machine Learning (ML) interpretability and reinforcement learning
  • Algorithm design and analysis
  • Combinatorial optimization
  • Computational complexity theory
