Reflection:
The idea that this job requires learning on the fly is intimidating but also full of possibility. It means I’ll encounter tools I don’t know how to use again and again and again, but also that these same tools will become familiar eventually. My knowledge will grow exponentially and I’ll have more options of what to do for my digital projects. It makes sense that this job requires adapting because the digital world changes constantly. It’s great practice for future scholarship or employment in the technology industry. It’s also amazing that we’ll produce meaningful work using these newfound tools, which makes the effort feel all the more valuable. I can’t wait to make progress in my project and to watch it develop as I learn more about the digital liberal arts!
